The Millbrook Inn is in the ridiculously picturesque village of South Pool at the head of South Pool Creek. The pub is only 10 minutes by road from Kingsbridge and 20 minutes from Salcombe.
But then there is always the creek! By boat South Pool is a lazy 15 minutes from Salcombe. On a Spring tide the pontoon is accessible two hours either side of high tide and one and half hours either side on a neap tide, dependant on your boat.
By road from Salcombe, follow the A381 to Kingsbridge, then take the A379 road to Dartmouth, passing through West Charleton, and then continue on to Frogmore, turn right at Frogmore, at the turning signposted South Pool, carry on this road until you enter South Pool, and the centre of the village |
