Our unique fisherman’s cottage constructed of Devon stone occupying two lower floors of a four-storey building. The property retains many traditional features including a rear wall built into the original rock! Stripped wood floors throughout the ground floor areas and carpet in the bedrooms makes the cottage a superb retreat tucked away in the town centre, just yards from the East Portlemouth Ferry and waters edge.
Sleeps up to 5 people in two bedrooms.
Kitchen/dining room: Stable door from the terrace into a lovely kitchen area with fitted units, electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Dining table and chairs/pew for 5 people.
Lounge: Leather sofas and stripped floor gives this room a lovely ambience. Electric stove flame effect fire, TV/DVD player. Open stairs to first floor.
Bedrooms: Two (both on first floor):
One double with 4’6” bed and newly fitted en-suite with shower, wc and wash hand basin,
second bedroom with 4’6’’ double bed and 3’’ single bed.
All duvets and pillows provided. Tenants to bring their own linen, towels, bathmats and tea-towels. Both bedrooms have restricted estuary views.
Shower rooms: Two: one en-suite to double bedroom each fitted with power shower, wc and wash hand basin.
Outside: Small front terrace with restricted estuary views. Chairs and electric BBQ available.
Regrets: Bookings not taken for young teenage groups, stags or hen parties. No smoking or pets.
Parents please be aware of the open plan nature of the staircase.
