Car Parks in and around Salcombe

  • High Season  – 25th March to 31st October
  • Low Season  – 1st November to 24th March
Salcombe Park & Ride Car Park / Park & Walk Car Park depending on the time of the year .

Tickets from Pay & Display machines £3.00 per car, Bus £1.70 return or £1.10 one way, children under 16 free.

The car park is operated on a Pay & Display basis and Salcombe Town Council operates a separately charged seasonal Park & Ride bus service.   The dates, times and fares for this service for 2017 will be advertised on the noticeboards at the Park & Ride Field and Tourist Information Office.

When there is no seasonal service from this car park it is possible to walk into town or there is a public bus service (timetable below) that runs daily and can be used for journeys to and from the town.  This is a very limited service on Sundays and Public Holidays.

The bus stop for this service is approximately 200 metres along main Road (past the petrol station and over the brow of the hill) at the junction of Onslow Road and Main Road (known locally as Beadon Cross).

Weekly Parking tickets are available from Salcombe TIC at a cost of £40 for the week.
All you need to do is send us a cheque made payable to Salcombe Information Centre , with a stamped self addressed envelope, car registration details , date and time of arrival to:-

We will then send out your Car Park ticket in the return post, with a list of what Car Parks you can use throughout the South Hams
